Marriage licence....what does my fiance need?/?

The wedding on Dec. 6th and I've been so overwelmed that I forgot about the marrage licence!!!!!

We're getting married in Philadelphia and Pennsylvania requires social security cards........but, of course we don't have one...will they understand and accept his Canadian passport and K1 VISA stuff???

Help please!

It all depends on the requirement of the state, we married in Alabama and they requires ssn but they put a dummy number in for us so we could get married, I would call and find out.

It all depends on the requirement of the state, we married in Alabama and they requires ssn but they put a dummy number in for us so we could get married, I would call and find out.

google of PA marriage license requirements

a bit confusing as some sites some say required, some say requested... one says have it handy....

Alleghany county is silent to the SSN requirement on the website

Call the local town office you were planning to get the marriage license from and ask.

I just got married in PA on Saturday. (Montgomery County). All I needed was a driver's licence and my Canadian Passport. No SSN required. $45 cash only.

Thank you - I can't imagine that I remebered the parsley for the canape and forgot the marriage licence!!!!!!

:lol: at least you remembered in time, you have a week to get it now! It would be much worse if you remembered the day before!
