Will unemployment affect visa?

I just recently filed for unemployment, it is pending on a telephone interview the first week in December. My question is will our visa interview, this week, be affected by this? I assume they can see that I filed for unemployment? My dad is the co-sponsor, and we will be living with my parents until we can get our finances in order, so I have no major bills.

If anyone has any knowledge of this it would help a great deal. Thank you!

Why would they have access to a particualar states unemployment records? They cannot even see the federal IRS database.

If you have a co-sponsor, you should be fine.

They will not know you are unemployed. Don't worry about it.

Thanks for the responses! I figured they could see every little thing I do! This has put my mind at rest, I've been stressing for a few days.

Agreed, they can't see your unemployment stuff. Assuming you filled out the info on the 134 before, then it wouldn't even be on the form. PLUS you have a co-sponsor, so this really wouldn't be a problem unless you didn't have that. I haven't had any employment more than school jobs and the co-sponsor was just fine.
