I'm hungry. Anyone up to ordering pizza?

you rang?

Yes, we will take about 3 large pizza, veggie lovers (hold the pork), and better make it quick. We have a butt load of pissy MENA women here that are PMSing. (Wear armor).

'Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO HOO, What a Ride'

Goat cheese, pesto and sun dried tomato(a specialty at a place near my work) - *drool*

yummers. there's a place called hot lips here that has my favorite pizza with apples, bleu cheese and walnuts. and another one with winter squash, brie and caramelized onions that is to die for . but goat cheese, pesto and sun dried tomatoes sounds really, really good right now. i don't think i'm going to be cooking tonight..

I was just at Costco getting a caesar salad with no dressing (ugh!!!) and saw all kinds of people eating their delicious dripping with grease and cheese pizzas.

Yum how I miss that!

When I was in Hawaii I used to walk to this Costco about a 30 minute walk from my parents' house - it was at a shopping center on a marina(Hawaii Kai Towne Center)... I would buy a couple of slices, sit by the water and read a book....heaven!!!

Ok, I hope I don't get flamed for this.

I haven't read the whole thread so this may have already been said. If it has, please excuse me.

I understand everybodies frustrations with the multiple threads stating the same thing, posted by the same person. I agree that sometimes it's like..ohh no, not another thread like this. BUT The way I look at it is this. When things go wrong and we complain to ppl outside of our mena friends or ppl who have a mena relationship, the first thing they will say is hey, they're mena that's what you get. Sometimes we come here for comfort and keep reiterating the same stuff because we have nowhere else to go, It's still luming on our minds and in our hearts, and we KNOW that there is going to be SOMEBODY in this forum that can sympathise or at least feel with us on our issue.

I feel, and I may be wrong, that she may keep posting things here because she is so "out of sorts" about everything that has happened to her and NOBODY around her gives a chit. She wants to talk, she wants to know that people are there for her no matter how off the wall she may seem and no matter how many times she may post the same stuff. I'm not saying that everybody does this, but to some people, this forum is really their only outlet and their only support system so when they tell their troubles, it seems to us that it is repetitive but to them, they are living with these feelings and they're not going away. They aren't feeling better, they just need to talk. I can't get mad at anybody for being repetitive.

I do admit that sometimes I see a repeated thread and just won't go in there coz at that time I don't have the patience to deal with it. Other times, I feel like maybe I have enough patience to see what I can do to help, and if anything else, maybe share a smile with the person that is hurting.

I know that ppl get really upset with the OP quite frequently, and I can see where that frustration may have some validity. I also see though how a person is reaching out for help in the only way that they know how and it is really sad. Sometimes when ppl go through things such as the OP has, going to therapy is easier said than done. Maybe she is getting therapy but just can't come to grips with the loss of that baby boy.

I had a family member who lost a child and wasn't able to leave her house for 3 years. She barely talked, she lost all her friends because all she talked about was how horrible life was since all it did was take away pplz loved ones. What brought her back to us was the continued love, support, and PATIENCE...omg so much patience. We listened to her cry every day for the loss of her baby. 6 months after the baby died, her husband died as he was waiting on a lung transplant. She would seem ok sometimes but around the holidays it was so so sooo very hard. She needed therapy but just wasn't ready to do that. She just needed friends/family to not be judgemental and just give her the love and patience until she could climb out of that black hole and stand on her own two feet again.

I'm done now. Sorry if I said something to upset somebody but this is just my take on the subject.

And on the topic itself. I am a pharmacy tech by day and a wife and mama by night. We have our differences, of course, but I love my man with all my heart. He does things that bug me and I do things that bug him. Nothing to the extreme of what the OP has been thru but we dooo have our moments where we both wonder what the heck we've done. In the end, we know what we want and we know that it takes a lot of work to make things happen the way we want. Do I ever worry about what may happen in the future? Sure, because no relationship is fool proof. I'm gonna enjoy what I got while I got it.

Ok..really I'm done now. Thanks for listening to my soap box rant.
