ok, my portuguese is not fluent but from what I can gather is that she lived in the US for 4 years illegaly. She is engaged to an american who sent in the petition or paperwork for a K-1 fiance visa. She went back to Brazil in February 2008 for her interview in Rio de Janeiro. She was denied a visa because of the time she spent illegaly in the US. She sent in a waiver but was then ordered to Peru for 6-8 months (...not sure why, this is what I am confused about). She also has a 3 year-old american son. She is 5 months and 3 weeks in the process (I think that is referring to the time spent in Peru). She wants help getting approved for a visa...can anyone help her? Can anyone else translate for portuguese?

Her husband or fiance would be the one to help her.

She was not ordered to Peru. Waivers for Brazil are processed at the Lima, Peru office as Brazil is under jurisdiction of the Lima USCIS Regional Office. In any event, she is asking whether anyone has experience with waivers in Brazil or Peru? I do not know anything about waivers...
