 More like HR Management. She's raking it in and ensuring her company's workers are healthy and getting the resources they need. Beautiful person.

Ok. I always thought HR managers maxed out around mid 1's. Learn soemthig new every day :star:

Don't think she's making all that much when it comes down to it... the house is down almost at Laurence Harbor... no McMansions there but really nice older homes with mandatory flood insurance.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

Oh ok, I thought you meant the new townhomes on the SA waterfront. Those went for 600+ a few years ago. Now owners can't sell at all.

Oh I remember seeing those. Nice. Yeah the areas I'm talking about I think go between 200-300K. With backyards that communicate with the 'beach.' HAL 9000 uses the term beach very lightly.

We almost wrecked our car at the weekend in another (new) pot-hole on the 22.

Gotta love those American roads hey.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Yeah, welcome to the Jersey shore :lol:

Last October HAL 9000 and Mrs HAL 9000 took a stroll on that path... and the smell of sea was worth it. HAL 9000 was pleased.

HAL 9000 hopes for some light snow if there isn't any. Must check the forecast. Also in Philly, as we will now also include the City of Brotherly Love in our plans.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

I do wonder if there will be a war in the not too distant future. After all - the Great Depression more or less lead to WW2.

So the invasion of Poland and Pearl Harbor were just asides then?

But in a sense you are right ... the depression led countries like Germany and Japan to react angrily towards the world because they were poor - dictatorial governments who told them their country was superior and it was OK for them to take what they wanted by force. So, let's just collectively thank God that McCain didn't get elected ... looks like we elected the right man at the right time.

Imagine if the economy was this bad when Bush took over what the world would be like now? He went into Iraq for oil and look at what happened gas prices ... they couldn't even do that right.

Here we go again...The New, New Deal....This typifies the Democratic party. Bash corporate America, characterize them as villains and then "make jobs" for Americans through government subsidized programs and contracts. The source of money for these "jobs"? You, and me, and of course corporate America in the form of higher taxes........

There are numerous problems with these "jobs", and there's a reason to put quotes around the word in the context of this discussion for they aren't high value jobs, nor do they provide the kinds of employment that makes America competitive in the world markets. They are mostly low paying, unskilled, labor intensive jobs.

And so a vast number of Americans will be beholden to the Democrats for providing a "jobs" program.

We've been here before. It didn't work then and it isn't going to work now.......

Well to be honest wouldn't it be better for the government to subsidize jobs for it's own citizens instead of subsidizing corporate "America"? Why not have the government help the people here get into jobs and get out of the poverty and debt trap instead of taking our tax money and giving it to these companies who take it and outsource the jobs anyway to the lowest paying dictator run 3rd world country they can find?..

Corporate "America" is the most un-American thing there is in this country. Do you really believe that people in this country wont work if given the opportunity? Of course they will, you think it's right they work for minimum wedge, no benefits in a $hothole factory making shits sold at large chain stores for top dollar? Why should the average worker skilled, unskilled or professional work for a corporate "master" that only wants to bleed the maximum profit they can outta them and dump them when they find new ways to become "more competitive"?

I don't see a thing wrong with taking back the walfare cheques given to corporate America and give it back to the people that worked for it and own it.. the people not the top 2% or 3%...
