yep, getting the wrong version of sex-drive installed is definitely grounds for sending them back and applying for another k-1 visa!!!

I thought 6.9 was the latest update......

some of the boys are slow .... but we still let them play because they're cute!

Women_are_weak__by_achenar.gif

Seems to me the fault doesn't lay with those that use it but with a government that makes it citizens use such a foolish system. In Europe you can go from country to country and never get stopped or asked a question but the USA protects it's precious borders angainst enyone wanting to enter the country by legal means.

They truloy protect it against singler women since they are such a threat to our society. (smile) So there are not many americans that can go to a foreign country and stay for 90 days to really kknow the women so they bring them here with this foolish K1. If the us would let "normal" people in here we wouldn't need it. Maybe if they just said they would pick lettuce or grapes the govt would let them in.

I do think K-3s should get priority over K-1s. That never really made any sense to me. "Here's someone whom I really want to marry, but just not yet!" as opposed to "Here's someone I've already married!" I think those that've made the leap should be given priority, and I'm a K-1er! (And before all of you argumentative "it's not that we don't want to get married yet, we just couldn't because... blah, blah, blah... if you really were 100%, you would've jumped in head first, consequences be damned!)

Secondly, those that "trade up" or file multiple K-1s because they're trying to find another one that's better, or they brought her, and I'll say her, because I've seen more than a few posts about "this girl from Russia, or Columbia, or the Philippines" or whatever other poor country with lots of gorgeous women who are willing to marry "rich" men whom they've never met. And since we're on the subject.... why don't you just say that's what really makes you mad? Not the fact that they're filing K-1s and slowing yours down, but the fact that they're "allowed" to do this to those poor women?

Sure, I'm pissed all those K-1 petitions from those dirty old men are slowing down the processing of mine, but I'm not going to complain about it... IMBRA is going to fix it all!

Ok I was tip toeing around it. Yes this is what I mean.

Yes I am sure it happens where people try to use the desperation of women/men who will do anything to leave their country. It is typical of certain countries too, you just can't deny the facts. Russia, Ukraine, the Phillipines, Thailand... some of the countries you think of when you think of women trying to get to America. Nigera, Morroco, Haiti... a few countries you think of when you think of men trying to get to America through sham marriages.

It sucks for us that are involved with women or men from these countries, because honestly, it is the exeption and not the rule where even from these countries people try these scams. We just all seemed to get lumped together. Oh well, what can you do? Take the good with the bad.

I think Slim was being sarcastic cause he falls into this category. I am not sure though, thats for him to answer.

I am not sure if it is just me but it really $%^#&* me off when I see people post things like ....this one did not work so I am going to apply for a new one.

I did not deliberately go out of my way to find someone in another country to marry, I know Casey did not either.

I just sort of belittles this whole thing when I see people using it as a dating service.....find someone in another country and bring them over, if it does not work send them home and find a new one.

It does not seem like the same thing as those of us who happened to find someone we fell in love with and want to be with more than anything.

In fact, Luis and I spent the first year saying "Why weren´t you born here?" "Did you have to live so far?"

We were sad it might not happen ´cus of the distance before we fought for it.

I didn't notice you were from Thailand Anya, I hope you both realize I was trying to make a point that supported your side. Scams are the exception, not the rule, and its dating sides like the one I posted that make people jump to conclusions about relationships between USC's and women/men of these countries.

If you would also look at my profile you will notice my fiance is from Russia, another place with the same reputation.

So its not like I do not know EXCATLY what you are going through... Because I do.

oh well.. i've heard about it first hand.. when i travel to another country by my self, if they know i'm Thai(or even an Asian!!).. of course they think i'm easy.. if i travel with my bf.. of course they think i'm a that kinda girl.. and yes.. i've been confronted by those close minded guys..(especially in Germany.. I got those comments quite often) and all the time i have to stand up to my self and my fellow Thai girls who' shouldnt be included in that kind of stereotype... well.. as one of our idiom says.. "one rotten fish gives the whole bag of good fish smell bad"... well.. just think about the meaning... i'm not a good translator

So i understand what you r trying to say…. Don’t worry..

Ps.. I have no problem with any occupation!! Just when it comes to make the country bad reputation. It’s just not right and sad. :crying:

Well said Anya... that is exactly how Chutima and I feel. I HATE that stereotype, especially about Thai women and Thailand, but it's hard to battle ignorance! And god knows... there's a lot of ignorance in this world!!!

Even as a guy, when I would tell people I was going to Thailand, they would automatically assume I was going there to "play", and that always made me upset as well. If it weren't for my job here in the states, I would glady move to Thailand to live out my life there. I have no particular love of the states except my job and my salary.
