I do think K-3s should get priority over K-1s.

I don't agree, for me engagement is a commitment just like the marriage. i'll steal john_and_marlene's words:

If K3 were faster then there would be shift in the number of couples that opted to get married earlier and file the K3 instead. If K3 had been the faster route, that's what we would have done. We were only unmarried during immigration to take advantage of the shorter wait. We certainly were ready and willing to marry

ditto!

not stirring the pot (much)....then why are there K-1'ers that feel 90 days isn't enough time to get married? If it's the fairytale wedding that you want and it's not enough time to plan it, that's understood...so you go to the courthouse and fulfill the requirements of the K-1 and go on with fairytale plans. I've seen many times where people say they needed more time to be ready. What do they need to be ready for??

you have a point there. I can't answer that. We're more than ready. Actually if we could we'd probably have a priest at the ariport waiting for me to get there so we could get married :P

Ditto that.

My fiance and I can endure the separation because we have to. We'd rather not endure it as (legal) husband and wife. Its a personal choice, and as John and Marlene said, we all have to decide what is best for us.

70s??? I LAUGH at 70s being considered summer!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh that is hysterical. I do love England SO much!!! :) :) I told Chas I would be cold while I was there - I think I was right!!

I still say my sweetheart will swelter to death when he endures his first Tennessee summer (90 plus degrees, 90% humidity).
