I saw the movie last night. I had been wanting to see it because i'm a huge fan of the director, Danny Boyle. He's made some classic films and I thought this would be a good one. It is a pretty good story. Dev Patel is a great actor and has a bright future ahead of him. I do think it is a notch below Gran Torino and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Those two movies will take all the awards, and are well deserving of it.

Finally.

My sweetie and I watched it last night.

It was absolutely AWESOME!

Moving.

Well filmed, great story, and us spoiled Westerners get to see a slice of India and the hardships of life there.

It's still just a movie.

Getting tired of all those threats with DVD, can't even jump to the menu, fast forward, or anything, Operation not permitted by disk. Now threats in ten different languages with disclaimers about opinions. Least they let you fast forward through all the boring parts of a movie, about 90% of it.

Anybody ever find a movie worth copying? Cheaper to buy it anyway, video stores can't even give them away. Better yet, has anyone even seen a movie worth watching twice?

I agree boo boo it should but most likely will not. it can't even show at all movie theaters.

yo Jo did you see it ??

No, I'm sorry. I have a few weeks to drive from Naples, Fl. to Yakima, Wa. I'll be out there next Monday, so I'll go then. Florida is a pain in the a$$ if you're driving a Semi, even without a trailer.

O.K. I finally saw it (I'm formerly Joe SP). It was good and worth the price of admission, but....I liked Benjamin Button and Gran Torino more. :D
