Anna got her interview scheduled on December 8! Two weeks. BKK Embassy is really humming.

Can anyone tell me when she might expect to get the actual visa? December 10 is a public holiday in Thailand. I wonder if I am safe to make a flight on the 15th...

(LOL, I found out today that she printed 1250 pages of chat transcripts! HAHA! Think that's enough? She's also taking 50 photos of our travels around Asia.)

it depends on the consulate to be honest, but usually the visa is ready the next day as long as all goes well. So she could expect to get it for Dec. 9th. Best of luck to you!

Official word from the BKK Embassy:

Yes, normally, it takes two business days. However, because of a Thai holiday on December 10, approved visa cases on December 8 should be ready for pick up by Friday December 12, 2008.
