Cancer is not a reason for denial so you should not be concerned about that. I'm so sorry to hear that this may be the situation you are facing..... best wishes for a positive result.

A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.

Cancer isn't communicable but can impact the evaluation of public charge concerns. How will his medical bill be paid in the US? Being K1, he can't go on your insurance at work until at least you are married. You may well need to address this at interview.

i dont think he can get denied in case he has cancer. well, i hope its benign or better its negative. US is more strict in communicable diseases like HIV, AIDS, TB..

destiny belongs to those who believe in their dreams and have the courage to really pursue it!

dont stop when you're tired, stop when you are done!

There was a UK member last year who had breast cancer....Mustang Sally, I think....she went through all the treatments first and at her medical had to show that she was clear of cancer. She did get approved. Though she's rarely on VJ anymore, you might want to review her old posts then shoot her a PM if you have further questions on how this could impact the visa process.

Thank you everybody. =) All is well. No worries. Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers. Now, we can angle those prayers towards all of us doing better, our economy doing better, and those without jobs, like me, finding a great one. =)

Love to all.

 Right on. Great news. Good luck!

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard
