I will soon send my package to my fiancée what is the best (safest) way to send it! She lives in the Mekong Delta and the mail service there is not the greatest. She has a Aunt that lives in HCM city and maybe that would be better place to send it. Just would hate to have all this data lost!!! Also why do we have to send another entire I-129 package when the Embassy will have one already??? Thank You

Thats true the Embassy will have a copy. I believe you may be confused. Make sure that the person you are petitioning has an exact duplicate of what you mailed to the USCIS. You did keep a copy for yourself didnt you?

No not confused lol! Well maybe a tad!!!! However, as I stated why send her a duplicate of what I send to USCIS? I was of the understanding that USCIS sends the original to the Vietnamese Embassy. And yes I do have several copies.

Still wondering as to the best way to mail it! :star:

Probably the safest way to send from VN is to use FedEx or DHL. Both have locations in HCMC.

Sorry, just realized you are sending to VN, not from. I think FedEx or DHL are also the best way to send to VN. Using the postal service to VN is iffy.
