Question about Sponsor and Co-Sponsor

This website has been a great help for me and my fiancee while we've been getting our forms together and filled out for the K1 process, but I haven't found information on one question that's been bugging me.

I'm a full-time student, and I've been taking on a very heavy class-load since my fiancee and I decided that we would like to get married. I have a very supportive family who pay my way through college so that I can focus on my studies, and as such, I have not had a "real" job yet. I know that my co-sponsor's income is sufficient for the requirements.

First of all, does the Netherlands accept co-sponsors at their consulate?

And, if so, what would I have to do when it comes time to file my I-134s? Do I need to go and get a part time job? Or would having a co-sponsor able to show a proper amount of support be sufficien

Thanks for any and all help!

-Jared

My suggestion is to get in touch with the Netherlands consulate and ask them. As far as providing proof of financial support goes, the uscis web site has info on the exact amount of financial support that is required and whether or not that can be provided entirely by your co-sponsor.

The US Embassy/Consulate in the Netherlands will consider a co-sponsor.

The petitioner (the US Citizen Fiancé) will need to submit an I-134 regardless of having an income (he/she will always be the primary sponsor). If none, so state. He/She doesn't need to run out and get a job (unless they want to).
