There is no specific waiting time that applies to everyone. Every case is different.

Hi poppy our interview is tomorrow in Dallas. You can get an infopass appointment very fast and if you look on the website late at night you can usually get one within a week or 2 at the most. ours was made by our attorney within a week.

It looks like your just waiting on the letter to give you an interview date and time? If that is the correct assumption, you should know within the next 2 months what your interview date is. Probably much sooner.

I am not really sure. WHen I went through the K1 visa, I was only 3 weeks into the visa process, and I was so frustrated. I called my congress person, and asked why the INS thought that our lives and loved ones were so insignificant that they would not respond in a timely manner to our applications. 1 week late I received a confirmation from the INS, and 5 months later we were granted our K1 visa and we were married. I was in shock. My fiance could not believe it. We were told at least a year if not a little longer. Hope things move with speed for you. I really need help. If you have a resource for me it would be grreat. My husband that I married in 2002, died last year of a heart attack. I am trying to get his son here. He is only 19, and basically alone in England. I promised his dad I would take care of him. Please help me or send me in the right direction.

For Dallas it depends a great deal on if you are going through DORA or not.

We did not go through DORA (wanted to get to work more quickly) and our wait was 8 months.
