Case not in the online system

Hi all,

I applied for lifting of conditions in August and had my biometrics in the first week of October. I received my one year extension letter.

So all is good, right?

Weeelllll, apparently when I try to check the status of my case online using my case number it keeps saying that the case doesn't exist. What should I do and when should I start worrying?

Try using the case number from your biometrics form, not your NOA. The NOA number is like a temporary one, it's the biometrics number that you need to register with.

And if you are not able to access it online using the biometrics number, give a call to the 1-800 Misinformation line and see if they can check on their computers using your biometrics number. There was one other case recently where she couldn't access the online status update but the information line could so she has to phone in for updates. Yours may be another.
