Main Road – Just Grillin in the Quayside Center (delicious fresh fish, love this place)

The west coast – More expensive, but good restaurants: The Cliff, La Mer, The Tides

In Bridgetown – Bean and Bagel or the Waterfront Café (great live jazz here, too)

Friday nights there is a fish fry at Oistens – such an experience. Every type of fish you can imagine, fresh cooked, plus live music – lots of locals, lots of fun!

There is a street vendor in St. Lawrence Gap as well who has great fish.

Dishes to definitely try are any flying fish, and rotis – those are Bajan favorites. I would avoid eating hamburgers – they are made with pork, and just don’t taste the same! Also with Pizza – if you order a veggie one, it comes covered with corn! Definitely try a fruit punch – it is almost like a shake, made with all fresh fruit – very delicious and refreshing!

If you like to sail, this is a great day out – They take you out on a large catamaran, and show you ship wrecks and swim with the turtles – plus drinks and lunch.

Are there pictures to go with your recommendations Sus? I'm afraid of not liking the cuisine or nightlife. I was thinking a cruise would help me decide on another island...but then I thought about rarely are the excursions at night because you are back out to sea by then. Shucks!
