Stressed over the AOS HELP

Hi everybody...

im sure this question was asked so many times...but i need some help..Me and my husband want to file for AOS this week and we are gathering all the necessary documents...and papers.. and forms.. and so on.. and we would like to see a checklist of documents needed over again, not from the step-by-step guide but from people that filed before...cos we are stressed over this whole process..

I felt the same way you did. I think I almost developed an ulcer because I was unsure of all the paperwork that I needed to submit. I can assure that you are on the right site, the VJ are notorious for helping others. Just make sure that you take your time because the last thing you would want is an RFE which may slow down your application. I walked away from my application many times and came back to it with a positive outlook. I can only tell you that it is VERY important to look over your application (more than two times) and MAKE COPIES for your file. Good luck and remember that the VJ family will help you out.

My step by step guide wa the instructions to the form I-485.... I would have been lost without it.

FWIW, the step by step guide was created from information accumulated from people who have filed before
