Why is it a 'farce'? Because you don't like the idea of homosexual sex? I don't 'like' the idea of it, but that doesn't have anything to do with the fact that discriminating against a couple because they happen to be of the same sex is wrong. They require a legal framework in order to be able to manage their affairs as a couple and not allowing them to have one because of some social niceties about homosexuality being 'sinful' is just stupid.
