Baltimore--same day swear-in?

Does anybody know if they do a same-day swear-in in Baltimore? We've got our interview/test scheduled for 12/12, but we're taking an out-of-country trip on 12/22 . . . I'm worried we're going to have to apply for an expedited US passport if dear wife passes the interview/test.

Is this for US citizenship? Your profile says K1. If it's for Citizenship, your wife will be notified by mail regarding the date and time of her Oath ceremony, it's not done the same day she's interviewed.

There same some places that do the interview and oath the very same day, Fairfax VA is one of them. Sorry do not know about baltimore. Furthermore, it didnt state on my interview notice that thery conducted same day oath ceremonies. I didnt find out til the interview!

So sorry, I haven't kept things up-to-date on my profile. Yes, this is for Citizenship (woohoo!). So when you say that the oath is NOT on the same day as her interview, are you specifically talking about the Baltimore field office? Because I've seen lots of places that DO have the oath on the same day (i.e., Newark, NJ, etc).

Hi! I know somebody who have done the Citizenship interview and Oath taking on the same day in Baltimore office. So hopefully,that will happen to you ,and me. That is where the office where I will have my interview too. How long did it took you,from the time you filed N400 to get an interview appointment? Mailed mine Oct 27 and my FP appointment is on Dec. 3.Thanks!
