Thanks guys, we found out online so far. Something to celebrate at Thanksgiving although surely only the thanks for the waiting go to the VSC lazy butts.

We will continue only with CR1 (both petitions approved)

It's huge Charisma...Huge!!! I hope I don't get approved so I could keep arguing about why this process is taking so long with my wife!!!

How did you find out about the NOA2?

first of all.....congratz charisma! every approval is new hope for the ones still waiting.

and yes, ofc Id hate to get approved now, when I didnt finish advicing my husband how to decorate the new place. he slept on the floor for a while so we go shopping together, then got a bed (I checked in pics the options), now seats and table. how long can someone live without furniture in a hope well shop together for our new nest? but wow, Ive just realized skype camera gives a much better view than the narrow angle Id get in person. and hope I dont get approved until we finish the whole remodeling through skype!

Well, I certainly hope they dont work on Friday. My god, if they do, thats one day closer to having my wife beside me, to cook me Thai food. I mean, the last thing in the world I need is home cooked Thai food. Geez, then I couldnt go out and eat Wendys, pizza, and my TV dinners I throw in the microwave. What would I do without my microwave? pushing those little numbers and watching the little dish go round and round, and then that sweet sound of the buzzer going off. ahhh, a feast to enjoy...but nnnnoooo, VSC wants to take all this away from me and make me eat vegetables.....ahh, home cooked veggies, I shudder at the thought. Then I have to deal with her taking up half the bed at night....I like my bed, its comfortable.....how come I have to share with her? Why is VSC going to take this away from me? Man, i come home from work, she's liable to be bored and clean something. Moving things around so I cant find them again.......And then I'll have to actually talk with somebody in the evenings when I am here trying to type idiocy on VJ. what about that? I know she's going to take this away from me too...Oh how I dread her arrival here in the US to my home....oh my, i just thought of something.......I'm going to have to start putting the damn seat down on the toilet.....shiET....I like my toilet seat up. its so much more convenient. I guess VSC wants to try to civilize me....oh, whats a guy to do, whats the world coming tooooo? ho hum......I think of these things and start to be depressed.......its so sad that I'll have to give up leaving the toilet seat up.

Congrats! I'm loving this!

God, I hope it doesn't happen to anyone else!

I'm one of those early August filers and I totally feel what everyone is going through, my heart goes out to all of you!

My wife just entered her midpoint of pregnancy (20 weeks!) and we were really hoping for her arrival no later than march, as the baby is due April 11. It's our first baby and the last thing we wanted to deal with is having to go through all the hassle of getting our baby US Citizenship. For anyone who has dealt with the Filipino government, you all know it's MUCH slower than ours. It's tough enough dealing with VSC, let alone those people in DFA in Manila.

Anyway, I know there is a snowballs chance in hell that they will grant us an expedite based on her pregnancy, but is anyone here familure with the types of expedites and how we can go about requesting one??? I heard economic hardship is one possibility and based on my situation, I was willing to give it a shot. I mean, I make well above the poverty line, however, I had to take a new job out of state just so I can survive in this troubled economy and it's sucking up all of my resources, I can't seem to get ahead right now. I am currently driving 110 miles in one direction to work everyday and finding an apartment in my area has been a nightmare! I know its a long shot, but I am willing to try anything to get her here before mid march...

Anyway, if anyone can offer any advice, it would be great. Otherwise, I hope everyone has a happy thanksgiving holiday and I know we will all have our families with us in due time

Let me just tell you about my experience, okay? I tried to get expedited approval for my step-children who were involved in an earthquake, okay? It was all over the news. Their home was damaged, school closed down, etc. USCIS denied it because they want photos of the house before and after damage... Yeah, cause someone who lost their home and is living in a tent has access to a digital camera, computer, and internet. So I think you can pretty much assume that they don't approve anyone for expedited approval. And I was told by the office that "Even if they approved your step-kids, they wouldn't approve your husband, because he lives in the Netherlands and wasn't affected." So I was like, "How exactly am I supposed to communicate with them when I don't speak their language and they don't speak English???" She said "Sorry"... So suffice to say, they're in line waiting just like everyone else.

As for financial loss, I doubt they would even consider it. It might even hurt you. If you can't afford your wife, how will you show evidence that you can support her when the time comes to bring her? So I would avoid that route all together. Pregnancy...well there have been many many pregnant people and they never get approved for expedite unless they have a medical emergency during the pregnancy which they can prove.

Congressman's office told me this is usually the only time they DO approve someone.
