Anyone know if PAL or any other airline are flying to San Fernando City, La Union yet?

I "heard" they have plans to do so.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

The plans have been around way back wherein the airport at Poro Point was even expanded to accomodate B737 class aircraft. However AFAIK, Poro Point still acts like a private airport. And if you check the PAL and Cebu Pacific, no flights to Poro Point are still being offered.

Just hopeing the new hotel/ casino at Poro Point may give airlines a boost to start flying there. I "heard" PAL was supposed to start flying there Nov. 1, 2008 but as of yet no such thing I can find.

Burned out on the 6+ hour van ride. I guess we could fly Asian Spirit to Baguio and take an 1 1/2 hour van or bus to SFC. Have to spent the night in Manila to do so tho.
