Having a Co-sponsor

We plan to use a co-sponsor when we file our I-864. I know that my husband, the US citizen is still the primary sponsor and has to fill out a I-864 but does he have to include tax transcripts as well or is that just for the co-sponsor? My husband have a job so he will not be putting in $0 on the I-864, unfortunately he doesnt make enough money so we will be using the co-sponsor for safety reasons.

Hello He will still have to provide the most recent tax transcript or tax return and W2. If your interview is before April of 2009, then he'll need to provide it for 2007. It's easy and free to request a tax transcript.

EDIT - Just realized that since you're filing DCF, his job is probably in Ireland and he won't have a W2. He should still have a 2007 tax return or be able to get the tax transcript. If he hasn't been filing taxes, that's pretty easy to fix by back filing. He can exclude over $80,000 USD equiv foreign income.
