I am not a male and did not supply the marriage cert.- only the divorce decree (had to pull that sucker outta the frame, ha!) but the k-1 was approved on this end WITHOUT the marriage certificate. Wonder if it has something to do with petitioner/beneficiary?

But... based on your post in the other thread, you have not had your consulate interview yet... THAT is where they request the marriage document.

I had my interview and both were requested take it just to be sure. Better safe then sorry and get blue slipped.

hmmmm - My attorney ( nuf said in previous posts on that issue!) said everything I gave her was all that was needed - but just to cma I'll dig for the certificates and send them over to him. He is going thru the interview, (IF they ever schedule the darn thing!) not I, does that make a difference?

No, it doesn't make a difference. The documentation relates to name changes so it applies to those who have changed their name.

such a silly thing! I dug the original license up (couldn't believe I still had it!) and am posting it tomorrow - I think the fact that I hyphened my name, keeping my madien as well as taking on the ex's is why my atty didn't think I needed it. But we all know what they say about assumptions!

Thanks for the clarifications!

Sounds right, provided your name is hyphenated on your passport.
