Well Good Morning to all my MENA Peeps!!!!

I am up with the chickens this AM and I can tell you it isn't pretty. I've been taking care of my mom's sorority house (she's a house mother) while she helps my sister and her family move - it allows her to get away for a few days and I make $50 a night for my efforts. So, I'm here with 50 girls in a huge house and it's been good times. Yeah, good times.

Last night, at 1:15 am just as I had fallen asleep, one of the girls set off the alarm to the house by clearly walking out a door that has a great big sign...do not exit this door between 9pm to 7 am. I had to deal with the alarm company and a bunch of BS...just want to say, "You're in college - READ!!!"

Now, I'm up heating a lasagna for church today. I just can't believe that I'm awake at this hour feeling way too exhausted.

Aww Tasha, sorry for complaining. That is something to complain about, although I am happy that he has this job. It is always so important to be bringing money in to the home.

I have about 6 or 7 loads of laundry to fold and put away. You know how everyone has like one or two household jobs they just hate? Mine is folding and putting away the laundry. that and emptying the dishwasher. I dont know why - I just always put it off until like now when I have a mountain of clean clothes. oh well, here I go.

Awwwwww, my nap was great!! Sara like you I have lots of laundry to do today. I hate laundry and mopping. I have an 11 year old that has a chore of putting the dishes away out of the dishwasher. I just have to get seriously motivated in the next few minutes.

I keep telling my skinny husband about Thanksgiving. I think he thinks that I am becoming obsessed with food because I keep saying Ohhhhhhhh mom makes the best this and that and I can't wait to eat.

Tasha, congrats on Ayman's DL. That's awesome news and a big step towards his independence.

I got some beautiful snap beans & mixed greens for Thanksgiving (I told mom I'd bring hot & cold greens). I think I'm going to try my hand at briouats today. I made a mint chocolate mousse pie last night but haven't tasted it yet cuz it needed to freeze. Hubby's working til 3, so we'll have our afternoon coffee date, then come home & prepare dinner and spend the evening together.

Hopefully all of you waiting will get the good news so that you, too, can have evenings like this soon. It's wonderful!
