HPV vaccine is only given to younger woman like 16-26 so if you belong to the age i mention then u need it... and its very expensive vaccine if you go with private doctors...so better take it in your medical at st. lukes ext. so u can save money...

well...dr. will ask you your previous vaccine like...bcg/dpt.. and for sure u have it already when u were a child...just show them the record of all your vaccine...

you can also chk in the website .... they list their all the vaccine ... that u need...

Yes i had asked some people who had their medical exams at SLEC,and mentioned that those vaccines are included when we pay our med.fee, but somebody told me that some of the vaccines are not available in SLEC,i wander what are those vaccines so i can just go ahead and get it.

Good luck too on your visa journey, seems like you are almost on your final process,Congrats!

good luck.

It's actually the panel physicians of SLEC who will determine which vaccinations you will be needing. It's also good to have them prior to your medical exam but what you should really prepare for is the TB check. I would suggest that you have your tuberculin and chest x-ray already by a pulmonologist so that in case there will be a finding of TB infection, you can already start having your medication or prophylaxis. If you would wait until you take your medical exam at SLEC and will later on be found to have TB infection, your visa interview will be delayed for at least 6 months.

Good luck on our journey!

Vaccines are age-appropriate and the Panel Physician will determine which vaccines you will need. These vaccines are available at SLEC and included in the fee, so you need not have it done with a private MD (which will be more expensive). The only vaccine that SLEC don't give (since it is not routinely available/currently not available in the Philippines) is the Td vaccine and you will be advised by the nurse that you need to have this vaccine when you get here in the US. You will also be advised if you will need another dose of vaccines (including the interval from the 1st vaccine given) upon arrival here in the US.

Good Luck on your medical/interview. God Bless.
