Susie - I am sooo jealous of your road trip - it sounds wonderful!! Maybe when we get some money together I will persuade Jeremy to take a road trip down the east coast - we can pop in and see Gillian too :D

Marta - I just started getting things sorted today - now I am confused because I don't know if I need to get the I-693 after all - I never submitted it with the AOS package - just the DS3025 and I am panicking that I will need it after all  I also can't find our original copy of our marriage certificate... I have a good idea where it might be but if it isn't there then we are screwed! Well, we just have to pay money we can't afford for a certified copy :P

Susie it sounds great :D And is Adriano´s English much better now?

yeah, it was a lot of fun. =]

Adriano's english has gotten much better, yes. I have to thank my sister and her family a million times over for that, because they are really the reason. He can have simple conversations now, even if he does make many grammatical mistakes. He can get his point across and that is the overall goal of learning a language anyway. =] I am very proud of him.

I'm not sure if it's country based (don't think so), but we never did the I693 either, just used the DS3025 vaccination supplement from the physical in Moscow, and we never received so much as an RFE. The cert copy of the marriage certificate is a must, though!

Well that's good - I am not going to bother with it - worst case is that they approve pending paperwork and we get it done after. As for marriage certificate - we have that now - it's the original so we will get it copied and take the original with us :)
