Well, it's been almost 6 weeks since we turned in our DS230 and thanks to the horrendous mail service here, we still haven't recieved our packet 4 (medical and interview info) so we swung by the US Embassy today (after a nice accident and major traffic issues, we almost didn't make it). I told them it's been a while and we haven't recieved any info, and they scheduled hubby's interview for next week!!! I handed in all the documents that they needed on the spot, and now we just need to get the medical done and God willing, we are almost there.

So glad we canceled that K3 and decided to do DCF!!!

I hope the accident wasn't serious. Congrats on the interview date and good luck!

So how long did it take from the time you filed I-130 until now?

thank God, it wasn't...just a fender bender. we were in a realy hurry to get to the embassy during the afternoon rush hour...we made it just in time!

We filed our I-130 on Sept 15th, so just over 2 months.
