You know.... there's a good chance it's not USCIS at all.

Many countries other than the U.S. spy on their own people (or people they have under occupation.) It's quite common in a lot of Muslim countries... including Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Libya, Syria, and many more.

And it's not just the Muslim countries. Israel is notorious for it.... I used to get hack attempts from the Ministry of Defense in Haifa.

I have some acquaintances who do this type of surveillance on contract for the U.S. government. Always remember that anything you say or do on the internet can be monitored by a third party. If they know who you are and are interested in your activities -- whether it's e-mail, chat, web cam, mic, whatever -- nothing is guaranteed "private," even encrypted stuff.

Belzabt! When I would call my friend in Ramallah I would hear background noises. When I would mention to my friend did you hear that. He wouldn't hear it but I did.
