When I first joined vj, (I cant remember much detail), I read of a case where a beneficiary went to the interview and was shown a private email of theirs by the consular officer. It had a joking reference about terrorist. They had not provided the email and were shocked that it was obtained by the embassy.

Also Hachemi has a degree in computer science, so he knows alot about computers. We have been chatting sometimes, and his computer would slow, and the cursor would move by itself. He said, someone is hacking us and reading what we write. We wondered if it was them or it could have been just anybody.

About a month after Mohammed's interview, I started experiencing odd things with my computer and I am sure I have been hacked. The ONLY time it slows is when I chat with Mohammed, no matter which cafe he is chatting to me from. When I log off, sometimes my computer will log off twice and then when I come back there is an error saying "network cable disconnected". I am not on a network.

Yea, tell algiers embassy to send my fiance's pkt 3!!!!!!!!!

Another weird thing that has been happening to us both. I have been online (not chatting, just surfing) and my msn messemger would sign itself out, and a little box would say. "we have signed you out of msn messenger because you signed in on a different computer." And hachemi has experienced the same thing. This has happened just recently. I thought it was Hachemi doing it and he thought it was me because we know each others passwords, but neither of us did it.

I love this thread! :star:

Just thought I'd throw this in.. I think the msn messenger thing is due to an upgrade or change in that program? Because we've been having the same problems.

Of course, we could be on the watch list too. I swear, I only went to Indonesia once!

:goofy: After my husband's and his 19-year-old son's AOS interview in which the immigration officer did not approve my step-son based on his age (though weeks later approved him after VJers help and lots of faxes with attachments and court documents to the officer), I told him I found evidence through people on VJ and he said he looked on the VJ site to see if he could find out any information to help him decide to approve my step-son's green card. Sad isn't it that our immigration officers are not trained to know the facts of K2s and the age factor? :goofy:

Well this just keeps getting freakier by the second. There are nights when my webcam and voice are really bad...we have just always blamed it on yahoo, but hmmmmmm.......

My mouse sometimes just starts floating...is that it?

Okay, so now if I hear they can actually tap into the webcam well then I think I will be the one blushing!

All I can say...isn't this proof enough? Or are you just getting your jollies now?

'Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO HOO, What a Ride'

haha why are you blushing my friend?

I always get disconnected because at work we have some laptops that float around and on one of them my password is saved so whenever someone turns it on it connects there and disconnects me. I hae yet to figure out which one it is! I don't think that they are tapping into chat and webcams and such dont' they have anything better to do? I mean I never even thought that someone could be looking me on webcam I figured if anything the government can read my emails. I'm starting to get paranoid now. K take care guys.

Starting to get?? I think this thread went a little ways past "starting to get" already

Yousuf is going to be so mad at all of you when I tell him next time that I can't put my webcam on because Bush might be watching me!!! :P

hahaha well for me I'm starting to get and Hicham is gonna kill me too when there will be no webcam haha. I think if they're reading this we better be nice and tell them how good of a job they have done but to pretty please help those who need it and to not let people be separated for so long please!!!!
