hello, everyone, my case is IR-1 in Montreal. How long currently fdo I have to wait from the closed by NVc to interview date?

One more thing, My police check was provided more than half of year before. So do I need to take a new one for the interview? Is that right the police check is valid in half of year?

Our case was closed by 9/15. We had our interview on 11/15

So yes, the case has to be closed. They will notify you of when your interview date is. Ya show up!

Grass, currently for CR1/IR1 the time between case completion and interview is 4 months. Our case was completed March 24 and we still don't have an interview date.

And yes, you'll probably need a new police certificate by the time of your interview. When was your case completed?

thank you for the replies. My case closed on April 11. So according to your said, my interview could be sometime in August. Not bad.

About my police check, is that right it is valid in half of year. Do I have to take a new one or see if I need new one through the interview informing letter?

Actually, I'm not totally sure since I think Montreal only requires the police certificate be within the last year. You may want to call the NVC to clarify.
