Timeline

I have had my previous car broken into twice. Stereo was stolen the first time. They drilled a hole through the lock, scratched and dented the body. Broke in through the window the second time, nothing was stolen the second time.

Cost: First break in total damages to car was $2000 for a $120 stereo. Second break in $300 for new window.

At my home, someone stole my christmas lights bulbs from the tree one night (yup - you read it right, not the strings of lights, they bulbs).

Cost: about $8.00 and 2 hours of work to buy new bulbs and replace them.
