What's wrong with you people. Why are we talking about Hijab why is it a target lately by a lot of people. We shouldn't talk about this because is not bad at all to cover your head. It's everyone choice you can be a good person or a bad person with hijab or not. Or you can be a good christian or a bad christian. Not only the muslim wears a scarf a lot of people cover their hair around the world. We are here to help but not to judge people/ Do not forget we are in VISA JOURNEY!!!!!!!!

Some people lead very boring lives and enjoy watching others get upset. The best thing to do is ignore the question/post and just call them out for what they are doing....

But some fish always bite.

It's fine to talk about it and we should all respect everyone religion and no one is better than others with hijab or without. We are all human and we should appreciate each other. It's really matter what other people think??? we cannot control people and we can control ourselves. That's why problems start. I'm a muslim and I do respect other religions and I do love to death my sister in law and she is chritian. Please guys stop playing and making this things bid deal

Why can't we talk about it? The point is to let everyone voice their opinions on something so we can see different sides and perspectives. That is what free speech and debate are for. Some people feel offended by the hijab, then there are those of us who don't. If we don't talk about the good thing about the hijab then those who don't like it will never know or learn. Don't be offended by the discussion because its not something to take personal. The goal is to say why you think the hijab is good and acceptable so others will understand your side.

Some people like reading things like this when y'all discuss it so that we can try to understand it. It isn't something commonly seen in Indiana.

I used to think it was oppression. But I have met enough Muslim women to realize that it is many things to them, and I haven't met one yet that calls it oppression. Not saying that some don't feel that way, just that I haven't met one yet.

What I found most is they view it as fashion. Similar to hats, jewelry, belts, ect. It's their religion yes, but their culture as well. They probably look at some of the clothing we wear with the same curiosity.

BTW, I didn't watch the video, so if their was something offensive to Muslims then I might have to take a stick and paddle AJ's bottom.

do you have a video that describes the plight of Catholic priests in terms of the fact that they cannot get married? Maybe one that directly correlates that to the rape of little boys? And then tie it somehow to all Catholic priests being perverts and such? Since the video author is so good at spin maybe he can cook that one up convincingly as he did this.

Don't people have better things to do with their time? Seriously get over yourselves all that are so hot and bothered by women who wear a piece of material on their heads.

In that case you would have to add all the other clergy since its not a Catholic problem but universal. A young pastor at the Protestant convention said that is we think the molestation of children is a Catholic thing then we are hiding our heads in the sand. It's just easier to point our fingers at them.

LOL! Not always. I had it on from the gym and never took it off before starting the house cleaning. My MIL is on her way so it was some major cleaning. Its pink by the way!

i supose it could be oppresive if ur going to be killed since u didnt wear it. but dont we all have free will from God. so telling someone they have to do something that god gives them their choice on would be oppresive.
