We filed our I-751 through our lawyer and got our NOA on 9/18/08. We have yet to receive any information about getting fingerprinted or whatever. When my wife got her greencard just over 2 years ago we were not interviewed. It just came in the mail.

Should we be worried?

Which service center did your lawyer send your application to? California is moving very quickly; Vermont is moving very slowly. If it was California, yes, I think you should definitely have heard something by now. If it is Vermont . . . . You could always make an infopass appointment if you don't hear something soon. Biometrics notices are usually -but not always - received around a month after submitting the application.

Hopefully you got the I-797c extension letter?

If so call USCIS and tell them you didn't get your appointment letter within 30 days. They will inform your local ASC to send an appointment letter.

Have your Extension letter when calling. Also the person that the I-751 is for must be present during the call.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship
