Timeline

Hi, friends!

For the ones who got case complete at NVC in october and november, I would like to ask when they set up the interview. Then, I can calculate when I will probably get my own...

Days are too long for me at this point.... I just think about the day when I finnaly get a CASE COMPLETE....

Met first time: 07/23/2003 in Rio de Janeiro (1 week having fun!)

Dating: july 03 to dec 2003

Engage: jan 2004 to jun 2007

Ary living in US: 2004-2005

Jun 2007 - wedding planns back!

oct 2007 - legal marriage

nov 2007 - wedding party with our whole family

Ary graduates: dec 2007

Visa Journey 2008

April 5th: I130 sent

April 15th: NOA1

MAY: HONEY MOON IN CABO SAN LUCAS MX

JUl: NOA2

Aug: Packet 3 documents gather in BR and US and medical test done

AUg: paied fees I-864 and IV Bill

Oct: Packet 3 sent

Nov: RFE

Nov: NVC case completed

INTERVIEW: JANUARY 9th = APPROVED!

Visa Delivered: JANUARY 14TH ( 3 working days after interview)

Timeline

The rule of thumb is that the NVC schedules appointments with most embassies during the first two weeks of each month. If your case was completed way before the 16th of November, they might have a date for you.

05/10/07 - NVC receives petition, case # assigned

08/08/07 - Case Complete

09/27/07 - Interview, visa granted

10/02/07 - POE

11/16/07 - Received green card and Welcome to America letter in the mail

Removing Conditions

07/06/09 - I-751 sent to CSC

08/14/09 - Biometrics

09/27/09 - Approved

10/01/09 - Received 10 year green card

U.S. Citizenship

03/30/11 - N-400 sent via Priority Mail w/ delivery confirmation

05/12/11 - Biometrics

07/20/11 - Interview - passed

07/20/11 - Oath ceremony - same day as interview

Timeline

It depends on the embassy you are using as to whether you even get an interview for the next month or have to wait much longer. I would guess you could hear something on the first or second week of December for your appointment.

Married: May 28th, 2007

Arrived in the US: December 10th, 2008

Mononoke28 Hello...I noticed Colombia and wondered if you could answer some questions. I have just received NOA2 and have a few questions. It might be easier through personal email if you don't mind???
