If it’s the 5 years route, you will need.

1- Signed N-400

2- Two pictures

3- Copy of the green card back and forth

4- Tax return/transcript for the year that you have been out of the country for more than 6 months

5- Any court documents if you have trouble in the past, divorced, etc.

You might also want to check the Guide to Naturalization, M-476. It will help in getting your docs all lined up.

Are the 3 years marriage same as the 5 year route?

Your kind of a needy person... Just kidding. Here's what the guide states

Unmounted and printed

on thin paper, on a white

background with a full frontal

view of your face; and

Taken within 30 days of the

date they are sent to USCIS.

Hope that helps. The guide has all this info so you can refere back to it. GL

Yeah...the USCIS are way too needy. :P . I can;t remember if mine had a white border, but it was on a white background and they have not requested for new pics. I know some peeps on the board take an extra set to the interview just incase the officer asks for for them, I reckon I'll do the same and if they don't need it I will use them for my passport pics. Ask away...this is why we have VJ.It has helped sooooo many of us get through this process.

I don't know if they do pics with white borders in the US. I could be mistaken. The last time I seen one of those was when I did my pics back in Dubai.
