i've filed my N400 application on Jun 07, done everything and done interview on Jan 17th this year. On the interview date, the officer said my case has to be reviewed by supervisor and i'll get a decision by mail, probably 60 days. However, I heard nothing since then, it has been over 11 mths!!!!

I've tried everything, called USCIS & talked to Info pass local offices, everytime they just gave me an excuse and said my case is in process.

Back to Nov 7th this month, I called again. this time the CS from USCIS was so helpful, he opened a file on my case and i've got a call from a lady on the next day and said "i don't know why your case hasn't been working on, now your fingerprint has been over 15 mths and its expired, you will receive a letter soon for doing fingerprint again, and we'll work in on after that"

Yesterday, i got a fingerprint appoinment which is on next friday, i'm not sure if my case has to do it all over again OR its done after redo my fingerprint, i'm really frustrated. :crying:

Does anyone has similar experience?? please share and i'm really clueless.

You can go for finger print appointment.

Do you have the case number they gave when you called in?

Contact your congress man. They have people dedicated for this kind of issue.

thanks for you guys reply, may i know what is congress man?

You should actually contact your Senators office. They have a special division that handles case that deal with USCIS. You have 2 Senators that represent you and your state. If I were you I would find out who they are and contact one of them. Call their office. They will then email you or fax you a document that gives them authorization to find out what is going on with your file. Good luck.

Thanks for your respond. I didn't know that I could contact our Senator Office for help. I'll do the fingerprint process again next friday and see whats going on next. If I still hear nothing from them, I'll contact the senator office of our state.

Does anybody has try to contact Senator Office and sucessful? Does it really help to push the case faster?

I don't know if it will move faster, but atleast you will find out what step in the process your file is in.

How about getting your wife's oath letter e-mailed to you, two hours after you call. If a USC spouse is involved, feel it's far more effective for that person to make the call.
