I-130/I-129F question

I am a little confused. When I look at the K3 Visa Historical Processing Times section on this web site there is a graph showing I-130 NOA1 to NOA processing times (for CSC processing times of 178 days-currently processing 5/27/08 forms) and I-129F NOA1 to NOA2 processing times (for CSC processing times of 84 days- currently processing 8/29/08). This is roughly a 3 month difference in the processing of these two forms. My impression was these forms were processed together (as part of the same application). Is this not true? My NOA1 for the I-129F was 8/15/08 which means I should have recieved the NOA 2 by now which I haven't. My NOA1 for the I-130 was 8/8/08. Using the 5/27/08 date gives me about 2 months to go for a NOA2. Any clarification would be helpful.

Yes, provided the two petitions are filed properly and within a few weeks of each other, they are processed together and approved the same day. The timeline data on the site is no more than a rough estimat at best.

Thanks, I called the "help center" for clarification. Helpful-Not. It would be nice to get a better handle on where one is at.
