i-130 transfered to CSC and i-485 interview on the way?

Hi,

I filed separately I-130 and I-485 in May (The receipt date is May 4th 2008) and I just got a mail saying my I-130 is transfered to CSC on Nov 14th. However, I have a I-485 interview on Dec 3rd coming up. So is this normal? Will they coordinate approval of I-485 and I-130 together? Will I be able to get a GC stamp if I pass the I-485 interview? Thank you very much! I wish I had discovered this forum before I sent in my package...

well they cannot approve the I-485 unless the I-130 is approved... so they have to coordinate the effort..

So the interview and approval of I-130 will go parallel? Depends on which one finished later I will get the GC? Thanks.
