Oh boy! Bad habits!

I quit smoking 10 years ago (Marlboro Mediums) and still have dreams about cigarettes. I had a terrible time quitting and so didn't touch tobacco for about five years. Now I treat myself to drunken clove cigarettes every now and then. And stuff (wink wink).

Mostly I like drinking. Sweet, sweet booze.

How about this? When someone else pays my rent, cleans my house and drives me around the city; they get a say whether I smoke or not. Otherwise, I cordially invite them to grab their kids and themselves and indeed, move away - specially if you drink alcohol, overeat, or have a disgusting body odor .

I was a long-term smoker but know those cancer sticks are highly addictive. I found it easy to quit (after many false starts) when I finally settled on quitting forever. It was a question of whether my health and family are more important to me than a pack of cigarettes.

I don't see how people can't stop a voluntary behavior if they really wanted to. I also don't mind smokers doing own thing outside or in say a bar. That was me at one time so I don't become critical.

My one belief that may piss off smokers is that how can you smoke if you have a spouse and/or kids? To me, you're telling them the tobacco is more important than they are and I didn't want my family to think of me for being a bigger idiot for contributing to my own demise at their expense.

Last bit for the obligatory anti-smoking sermon- If you choose to quit, try running because you'll hate the way smoking affects your lungs when they really need oxygen and I found I wanted to smoke less because the taste of cigarettes turned me off while gasping for air.

because we cant all be as strong as you obviously !

I don't think it's about being strong at all. It's about showing you care more about your kid's health than your own addictions.

I wouldn't have ever married someone (or even engaged to someone) who didn't have these priorities set straight.

No its not, my kids know i love them, as i dont smoke around them. so suck it

and if you think smoking and having kids means i have my priorities messed up, your more ignorant that i thought :)

Just bc you dont smoke or dont like ppl who smoke, dont judge a persons priorities just bc they do. makes you nastier than the tabacoo itsself

Charles, just settle for the coupons and special offers.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.
