All you have to do is list the countries where men running around dressed as a women is considered Normal, then list the countries where it is not.... In world population 99% of the people would agree, a man who feels the need to dress as a woman is troubled.

I know in your little coffee group it is ...acceptable but you are in an extreme minority.

If you doubt me, fine, name a few countries where even a majority of the people might think a Transvestite is balanced.

Yet you would hand children over to them for adoption... yet balk at an adoptive parent who smokes!

a life with loving parent(s) is something that everyone deserves. there are very strict rules about adopting children and if someone fits then why should they be refused based on that? they would not be a "confused" person as they would have been vetted...

We have had a number of cases where adoptive parents beat, starved and molested adopted children, how does this happen if the screening is so intensive?

I think you are putting WAY TO MUCH faith in the ability of the Adopt agencies to investigate that

in depth.

This is exactly why people who have certain traits, habits or back ground are flagged.

It doesn't mean that every alcoholic is going to abuse or neglect a child but it's "more likely".

So what's the connection between homosexual parents and child abuse or neglect?

Two transvestites with the best of intentions would none the less be much more likely to raise a

child with mental problems.

Statistics clearly show even a child raised in a home with only one parent are *more often* effected by Drug use, Pregnancy, earlier sexual activity, Suicide, child prostitution, school drop-out Etc.

What do you think the results of two transvestites would bring>?

Really? Strangely, the Bay Area has been quite a living statistic of adopted children and homosexual parents. In fact, I went to school with a good handful, and they all turned out just fine. While clearly a child stands a better chance with two parents over one (no refuting those studies), I'd love to see what scientific studies there's been to suggest transvestites give a child mental problems. Last I checked, generally kids aren't involved with their parents' genitals, so the focus is usually on their actual ability to parent. Which makes this all the more hilarious when people try to make some sort of connection to homosexual parents and bad child upbringing. Kinda like the arguments of sanctity of marriage, guaranteed there's no "sanctity" of heterosexual parents versus homosexual, bisexual, or "transvestite" (in your words) parents.

Hopefully you read the whole thing. The judge was really quite scathing about the 'evidence' brought by the state expert witness on the matter, determining that his view was based in his own theological postion and not at all objective. So sad, too bad, dinosaurs.
