After the "Prop 8" passage and now the ensuing news stories about the Demonstrations, someone pointed out that these gatherings seem to be nearly all white, no matter what city.

At first I scoffed at this because we know there are homos in every demographic but when I saw a huge demonstration in New York City and nearly every screaming face "was" in fact white... I knew something was-up.

Hey I have been to NYC and it has got to be the most diversified in the country (maybe the world).

Yet here is clear proof that these demonstrations are not a a reflection of NYC but rather a select few.

As you look at the clip.... it's hard to believe it is NYC.

There are few places one can go in NYC and see nothing but a white sea of faces?

IN fact I would bet a concert by Toby Keith, would draw a little more color than this mob.

In fact, if you change the signs to include "hate filled racist propaganda"... rather than "hate filled Gay propaganda" ... one might think this was a klan rally.

These protest are hypocritical. Rather than telling everyone how to live, if you don't like their practices then you don't have to follow them. There are plenty of other Christian denominations who are not like the Mormons.

Well, I don't know about the protest images you have seen, but having seen the march here in Chicago up close and personal and having seen images of the rally, I can tell you it certainly wasn't "white only".

But that's a nice term... "homos".... :wacko:

But that's a nice term... "homos".... :wacko:

At least he's up-front about his prejudice - even if he probably doesn't realise that that's what it is...
