 never thought this thread wd ever be thought about in here !!! then again its MENA anything is expected

Well i trained myself to do it and yes still painful but im more experienced! i say teach urself! u wont get burnt becoz ur not using the packed wax where u have to melt it! if ure preparing it at home u can cool it and have a cup of water next to u. Anytime it dries and becomes hard dip ur hands in the water and start playing with it like plasticine and it will be softer again and get to it. Encourage urself by working ur way from outside to the inside and take it easy in ur self -breathe the pain and rest and dont panic! dont use a big piece; smaller pieces give u more control! when it gets messy and u lose control get under hot water and just wash it off it will vanish!

I always had someone come to my house n do it for me in Egypt but i got tired of ppl seeing 'my' stuff lol

PS. the lady who used to do it for me used to cover it all with baby powder and then spread the wax n do it; it was less painful like that but its messy!

If u have no confidence in doing it at all...yes go to a salon like everyone else adivsed u!

i cant believe im actually talking about lol what happened to me!!! the VJ effect i guess :P:devil:

ETA: i soooo wish i wd ve sent u that in a PM

I loved living in Argentina, because waxing is so cheap and they start the women on wax when they are little girls - like 12 or 13. It is so common to have your whole body done that no one thinks about it. When I went last year I had my full legs, under arms and eye brows for about 25 pesos, which is $8.50. I love it!!! Also, the wax is real bees wax so it is very, very different and doesn't hurt very much.

You just reminded me of one more thing I'll do when I'm in Argentina next week :rofl:

Saludos,

Caro

I went and had it done by a professional last year at a spa, but it was expensive so after that I started doing it myself. It hurts, i'll admit, but it always turns out great and I'm happy I did it. I had no experience at all before last year and no one to give advice. The only thing I could go off of was how the woman did it at the spa, but it really wasn't that hard and the pain was manageable. Maybe I'm weird, lol, but it doesn't bother me much.

ok i just have to ask...when someone else does it:

1) do they do the whole shabang or just like the sides for people who wear bikinis?

2) if it's the whole thing, do they cover the rest of it so as to save at least a smidgen of dignity or is it all just hangin' out there?

LMAO...you change double the poopy diapers that I do, so nothing should gross you out anymore. :innocent:

1) They do whatever you ask for

2) I wouldn't say its hanging out but its not for the weak at heart either. You will definitly have to get in some uncomfortable positions in order to have access to certain areas. If you are worried about dignity, that worry will disappear as soon as they rip off the first strip of wax.

VJ Hours - I am available M-F from 10am - 5pm PST. I will occasionaly put in some OT for a fairly good poo slinging thread or a donut.
