Ladies, just break down and go to your local professional trained in speedwaxing. I use a special Lavender Wax for sensitive areas and I'm quick & relatively painless. It lasts longer and, done properly, minimizes re-growth over time. You would not believe the horror stories I hear from women who try to do it themselves. Helz, I *know* what I'm doing and won't do it myself in that area!

No sh!t I can't even SEE down there let alone do that myself!

If I ever tried to wax myself down there and couldn't do it, I would have to go for months before my husband would be able to help me with it I can't even handle waxing on my legs. One time I came back home with wax on my underarms coz it was too painful and I wouldn't let the lady touch me anymore

I think they should sedate women when they do any kind of waxing. Because it SUCKS!

I can so picture myself parked on the toilet with my feets on the bathtub and a couple handheld mirrors betwixt my toes. hot wax on 1 side, directions in 1 hand, spatula in the other and the paper in mah mouth. .. ... Stretch, squirm, grunt, slather, "stuff" waxed shut due to slippage of 1 foot, breaking a mirror, dropping the tape, and spatula falling to the wrong area....omg..no thanks!!!

I loved living in Argentina, because waxing is so cheap and they start the women on wax when they are little girls - like 12 or 13. It is so common to have your whole body done that no one thinks about it. When I went last year I had my full legs, under arms and eye brows for about 25 pesos, which is $8.50. I love it!!! Also, the wax is real bees wax so it is very, very different and doesn't hurt very much.

My friend once tried to wax her brows and got too much wax on it and it dripped down her face and over her eye lashes. She kind of had a furry face, if you know what I mean. When she wore her powdered make up you could see that she had a stripe with no hair. She had to work on eye lash but and also she had a stripe going down her eyebrow. She was in bad shape. So be careful, its always better when you have a little help from your hubster or wife!

see i knew i could find someone somewhere with info... but the deal is my husband is very "protective" and going in and having "it" waxed is not an option so ... what is the best one at home?

that's *why* you go to a WOMAN. I cannot recommend one for home, so if he has issue w/ it, he should get trained and do it for you.

eta: it's only partially about the product, it's mostly about the proper application and proper removal... only my 17+ years of professional advice.
