I feel very fortunate to be working in the video gaming industry and my company is doing well so far...but I'm anxious for my wife to pass all the necessary board exams so that we are less dependent on my economic viability. Right now, we're essentially living off of my salary alone.

You're a smart guy. There's always be a job for you somewhere.

You're new siggy is putting me on the verge of an epileptic fit!

There was a portion of I-5 near San Diego that was built with strips in the center of the lanes for test cars to navigate. I first heard about it in 2000. I'm sure they're still working on the concept.

Sounds like a variant of rail.

I wish Jinky speedy exams :) I know what you mean. I'm so thrilled Patrick found a job this week because that means soon I won't be carrying the family on my salary alone.

Dream career: The chick who reads books on CD. Man, I'd LOVE to have that job!

I'd wait on tables if I had to. But having children, especially small ones - it brings on a lot more anxiety should I ever become unemployed.

Thanks, Jen. She hasn't really had much time for studying. Our little one takes up so much energy ...and she says it's impossible for her to study at home. We'll figure out some way for her to have time to do it, but it's like we're both juggling ten pins and a bowling ball.

What does being a good engineer have to do with driving a 13 speed?

I am implying that our dear friend Neils is not a good engineer and may want to consider a job in the trucking industry. It is all in jest obviously.
