Hey Anutka.

Well my appointment was pretty useless. As expected he said he cannot do anything until 90 days have passed.

I asked if he could give me an idea of when the processing will be complete and he pointed me to the USCIS website processing dates. I asked if he could get any other more accurate information by looking internally and he said no.

I then told him my husband is in the military and we might get moved in the next year - I told him SC is taking up to 2 years to process GC's and asked if he could request to have my case transferred to California. He said he couldn't do that and it was just luck if you get transferred to Cali.

So all in all a useless meeting.

I sit and wait in frustration with the rest of you :(

I called today USCIS infoline (I had some questions) and also I asked about my EAD - she said that it should arrive 60 days after biometrics - well I haven't heard this 60 days rule before, and if it will not arrive then I should inquire about that.

So generally I am confused about all these rules.

:goofy: No rhyme or reason. My husband got his biometrics letter around day 89. We had actually made an Infopass appointment a week before for the end of that week (being the 91st day) but cancelled it as we had the biometrics appointment the next week (somewhere around day 97 for the actual appointment). I had been looking at other people's timelines and some people that applied AFTER us had their biometrics appointments within 45 days, in fact lots did. I could never figure out why ours was so slow, and of course we needed the money (as everyone does). So basically it is anywhere from 30-90 days. I wish you a speedy EAD though. :goofy:

I feel exactly the same, and I am someone who's husband has filed for EAD at least a MONTH before any of ya'll that are asking about it! Our Bio wasn't wasn't till April 20 and we still have no EAD and had to practically pull teeth to get the interim one. We weren't too concerned about EAD because we knew we could get a 91'st day one..that is didnt start stressing till the dummy at USCIS here told him the first time he couldnt have one.

Take a chill pill about the EAD ya'll! You can get your 91st day one, don't go expecting one at 45 or 60 days.. If you are pleasantly surprised, great! If not, just plan more or less for the 90 day deal.
