BTW, you did change ur tune. I was addressing the "I can't stand them" hater attitude not your choice. I have many friends and relatives that have made the same choice.

You talk out both sides of your mouth in my opinion. I never attacked your choice only your nasty choice of words. I wish you the best of luck. And anyone who knows me on this board knows I'm not hateful nor do I attack a persons choice. Again, your words were hurtful.

I know that. I have read several of your posts and you have always been nice in them.

I appologize if "i can't stand them" offended you or hurt you. Not my intention.

I changed my tone because I realized that people were taking it as something hurtful and that wasn't my point.

Actually, the whole point was to say that taking a dowry, money, or anything else from my husband, and choosing not to have children are not reasons to suspect a fraudulent marriage. Nor is getting married 10 months after divorcing your husband.

And we're not being interviewed in Casablanca, Egypt, Mumbai, or anywhere else where they deal with this day in and out. We're going through the Amsterdam consulate. According to the reviews, it's quite a different atmosphere than other consulates, simply because they know EU citizens have no need or desire to obtain a greencard for fraudulent reasons.

That would be music to my ears.

Whether or not her relationship is fraud is one thing. What is crazy is to assume that the consulate is going to give them the visa without a problem. The consulates doubt ALL relationships. That is their job. They assume that all relationships are based on fraud, and their job is to prove that it is. The ones that get the visas are the ones that they can't deny with what they consider to be enough proof to deny. The fact that Narina has brought over another man on a visa, whether he abandoned it or not, will be a red flag. The fact that Mike was already talking to this other woman before his divorce is a red flag. Of course their marriages are real to them, but it is the consulate that they need to convince. It would be foolish to assume that they have nothing to prove to the consulate because their situations fit the norm.

I remember one girl that was Muslim from birth. She was engaged to a man that was around the same age as she was from Morocco. Their culture was the same and their religion was the same. He was denied the visa. No one ever figured it out, but they broke up in the end. Was it fraud? I don't know, but obviously the consulate didn't buy their relationship.

Narina and Mike, I know that you guys are defensive on this. But what I am stating is not a personal attack on you, it is a fact.
