No worries gals, I guess we don't know the whole story so the best we can do is say congrats and remember karma is a funny creature ;)

Actually, Karma - you know my good friend, yeah, she's a beyotch!!!! :rofl::rofl:

We don't know the whole story, but those of us who know know that men and women in Egypt don't talk "just as friends."

Kada, kada, kada...

I do have a bit of a karma story to share. I know an Egyptian woman who was totally shat upon by her ex-husband. Short version: They got visitors visas, he did talak before they left Egypt, she travelled with anyway because their intention was to overstay their visas ("What? Everybody does it!" Yeah, that's what she had to say about it...). Ex finds a woman to marry, for a visa of courrse, and puts her on a plane back to Egypt. She's been here for six years while he stays in the States with their children, after divorcing wife #2 after he got his papers straight. Anyway, she's applied for a visitor's visa twice now and, of course, has been denied twide. Well, she just married an Egyptian-American (who married an American woman and divorced her when he got his papers) and, taban, he applied for her visa right away. Her plan? This is what she told me: To divorce husband number 2 and move into a house on the same street as her first ex, the one who divorced her and shipped her back so he could get a visa. One of the things she got out of her brief stay in America was a deep appreciation for girl power. Is what she's doing right? No, of course it isn't. But it's her way of getting them BOTH back.

I don't get why she'd want to move into a house on the same street as her first ex. Is it to be closer to the kids? And why on earth would she leave her own children in another country?

No wonder I had to wait a year and 4 months for my husband to get here.

The real test isn't the USCIS, it's the consulate. Good luck there, if I remember right you are going to need it.

Do they contact the exwife who got you here at all? I always wondered about that. I mean God forbid my husband did something like this I would hope the USCIS would contact me to ask what really happened. If not they really need some revamping.

I think I missed something.

He came here from Egypt because he married a USC. He fell in love with a gril from Egypt while married (cough cough), divorced the USC as soon as he was able to petition legally for the Egyptian and now got approved. I would hope that this would have sent a huge red flag to the USCIS and that they would have contacted the ex to hear her side of the story but I guess that's just wishful thinking on my part. Sorry I'm b!tchy today and not politcally correct. This stuff just rubs me the wrong way.

How very interesting....

Lets take a poll:

How many would wack it off??????

Its all sad really. Why do people have to screw other people over? :( Don't they have a conscience?

I'm sure that if DOS could tell you their thoughts on this, they'd probably say, "HELL NO!". You know I'd love to hear horror stories from them as to what some people have tried to pull; just so we could have a better appreciation of the BS that they see on a day to day basis, and why they deny so many.

I mean, I still think of *one who shall not be named* and her experience at the USEM. What must the CO have thought about having to tell her that her hubby is still married, and after all of that hear that she's going to stay married to him. What must the COs think - they're probably like what the hell are these American women thinking!

Sweet peach, you must count Miss Bridget and myself in on this poll. I would do it so fast it would be like a darn weed wacker and he wouldn't be able tell if he had a ####### or a ####### before.

It's sad how people think this is ok to do. It makes me feel crazy knowing that because of sh#t like this I had to have my baby all by myself and recover from a c-section and basically almost die by myself with out my husband because f'd up fools are using each other like this. MAKES ME SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSIIIIIIIIIIIIICKKKKKKKKK!

The OP is not the first nor will be the last to do be in this situation.

Many men that come over, divorce and remarry. Seems lately they are having much success in securing a visa for the new wife from back home.
