I liked Monty Python and the Holy Grail but I wasn't too keen on Now for Something Completely Different.

I have yet to introduce Monty Python to Tom but he loves Red Dwarf, and Blackadder.

I'll raise hand for Hubster.... I find moments chuckle-worthy, but it's not my favorite Brit humour....

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

At church once, a woman told me that she had seen "Monty Python & Holy Grail", and that one question, "how many swallows does it take to carry a coconut" was never answered clearly.

I told her, "ONE keralite swallow can empty it, so it should also be able to carry the empty shell" (using MP-spirit for reply), which she didn't get.

The movie, The Life of Brian , was pretty good. Those guys were well-educated for the most part in contrast to our American comedians and they came up some silly but accurate spoofs on history. There aren't that many comedies out there that can make you laugh and learn at the same time.
