Oh good golly be, Our interview is on Monday and i'm getting incredibly nervous now :wacko: It feels like this interview will decide our future fate. We have all our evidence in order and the attorney assures us we don't have a weak case but yikes I'm getting scared and not sleeping good!

I got 2 job offers this week as well for positions as vet tech and as animal control officer and both will be held if/until I get the greencard through. These are 2 jobs that i didn't even try for but if advertised I would have applied for. they were just offered based on my experience, which makes me feel immensely proud so I hope to goodness its a sign of good things to come.

How did y'all pass the days leading up to your interview?

I-130 for both parents

March 28th 2013 - Priority date/ NOA 1
November 14th 2013 - Transferred to Nebraska Service Center

January 7th 2014 - Case changed online to approved for both

January 8th 2014 - case changed to shipped to NVC

January 9th 2014 - case changed to NOA 2 mailed

January 10th 2014 - Received the hardcopy of the NOA 2 stating that NVC would issue a case number in 30 days approx.

January 21st 2014 - Case Received at NVC

February 26th 2014 - Case numbers and IIN number received - Wrong embassy code assigned...now waiting for new case numbers.

March 3rd 2014 - Filled in DS-261 for both parents

March 5th 2014- AOS available, paid and submitted AOS packet.

March 6th 2014 - USPS shows packet was delivered at NVC

March 10th 2014 - AOS shows as paid in the CEAC portal/AOS logged into system as being received by NVC.

March 11th 2014 - New case number assigned for my Dad.

March 20th 2014 - Paid IV fee for my Mum.

March 25th 2014 - AOS accepted by NVC with no checklist.

March 26th 2014 - Filled in and submitted DS-260 for my Mum

March 31st 2014 - AOS found in my Mum's file for my Dad - accepted and placed into his file/IV fee available for my Dad and Paid.

April 1st - Mailed all civil documents to NVC for both parents.

April 3rd: IV fee shows as paid in portal/submitted DS-260 for my Dad.

April 22nd: checklist issued for civil documents - NVC error ...

April 23rd: sent another certified copy of my marriage certificate

April 24th: Case complete! :)

April 30th 2014 - Medical scheduled for parents at Knightsbridge in London

June 11th: Interview at London Embassy - Approved :)

November, 2006 :I-693A Sent. The waiting goes on...
April 4, 2007: Infopass & it doesn't help at all!!!
April 18, 2007 :Contacting our Congressman.
May 18, 2007 : E-mail rcvd, Welcome Notice Sent! Finally!!!
April 22, 2007 : E-mail rcvd, GC has been ordered
April 24, 2007 : Welcome Notice Rvcd. Yeeehaaa!!!!
June 1, 2007: GC arrived! Yippy! USCIS Free for 2 years!
2008: Moved to China
2009: Conditional GC Expired and Husband has been having affairs since 2008 in China. Can't file for ROC since he got laid off. He came to Jakarta to live with me and my parents. He got a new job. Life resume to normal or so I thought.
March 2010: Officially separated after yet more affairs exposed just a day after my birthday!

February 2011: Officially divorced.
June 18, 2011: He married the girl he had the last affair with.

August 2014: I am engaged with my real soulmate. Not an American.

We recently had our interview and it was VERY nerve wrecking for my husband - who is from Russia. We supplied a huge canvas bag full of evidence of our finances, filed taxes, joint accounts... we even got a print out from the video rental store saying we had a joint account!! Just anything he thought of to support our being together for so long.

Be yourself, show a picture album of the wedding/honeymoon - we did, it just made it all more real. I am certain you will be Great! Take a deep breath.. the long trip is almost over - have a GREAT interview!!

I was really nervous about our interview, and my first thoughts afterwards were "that was it?", we were in there like ten minutes, she briefly scanned through our evidence and took my fingerprint for the greencard. We had a pleasant conversation, and she was really sweet the whole time.

I found the whole thing to be quite the anticlimax, after being so nervous and thinking it was such a huge deal! :P

02/14/05 - Had Medical Exam

02/22/05 - Filed for AOS in Seattle, in person

03/31/05 - Got EAD!!

04/02/05 - Biometrics and Fingerprinting

05/19/05 - AOS Interview - awaiting decision...

08/24/05 - (conditional) Permanent Resident

09/08/05 - Passport stamped in Seattle

09/19/05 - Recieved actual Greencard! YAY!!!

05/24/07 - 90 days to remove conditions starts!

06/02/07 - Filed I-751, California Service Center

08/09/07 - Biometrics and Fingerprinting

08/28/07 - I-751 Approved & conditions are removed!

09/12/07 - Recieved 10 year Greencard! YEAH!!!

*now contemplating N-400 and citizenship*

I wish you all the best for the interview and when it's over you might wanna cross your fingers for my interview on the 7th, ok?

I am not that nervous yet but I definetely will be when I wait for it to actually happen.

03/19/2008 - package sent to TSC, let's hope for the best

03/20/2008 - check cashed

03/26/2008 - case sent to Vermont Service Center

04/17/2008 - Biometrics scheduled

05/19/2008 - received I551 extension stamp via INFOPASS

02/12/2009 - APPROVED

02/21/2009 - GC received...no mistakes...valid until 2019

Hey good luck!

By the way the officer didn't even ask about my job at all!

And I'm proud of it, I make more than my husband, I own a business...

All what she was asking about was my husband's job (USC)

and most questions were directed at him...

Well I was actually panicking like a month before the interview,

days before I was looking for my EAD card and my SS card

that I haven't found after all at all...

Good luck, things will go well.

Try not to be stressed when you go there

(we weren't) as they see stressed people all the time!

10 year GC Approved - APRIL 16th ,2009 - Peggy and Jonathan's......

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.
