I have ****ing had it with CSC!!! I am on day 129 since the damn noa1 and still nothing. Seems like there are only a few along with me for the ride and that sucks. I want to be one of those ppl who can rejoyce because they are moving onto the next stage, not one of those sour broad who cries and gets pissed when someone from february or later gets their noa2. where the hell is mine? I just don't get it and with each passing day it gets harder and harder to stay strong. I feel like I'm going out of my mind and losing my head. I've been apart from my sweetie for 21 months now ......4 months maybe I could handle if that were all it was but it hasn't been , its been so much longer and I'm just dying for all this ####### to end. I just don't know what to do to keep the hope up. I see others get their noa2s and I just want to punch something and lose all sense of self control. I'm so damn tired of this ####### people! I think Jon is going to go to his congressional reps and find out what is going on because this is ridiculous. I didn't do anything wrong to warrent these "extra security checks" and I would like to know what the hell gives. I'm just a young woman trying to live her life and be happy and I want so badly out of this mundane routine I call a life. I want to move on to bigger and better things and be with the one person who makes me feel good about myself. I'm tired of sitting online every nigth and talking or chatting on the phone. I want the ****Ing real thing for crying out loud!!!! I'm depressed more than I should be for someone my age and I can't eat right or concentrate because I'm worrying about this damn visa process. There may not be much of me left by the time CSC and USCIS get their acts together. I don't know that to do. I'm all out of answers :crying: I needed to vent. Sorry if I brought any of you guys down with me.

awwwwwwww sweetie *hugs* I can only imagine what you are going through. I think contacting the congressman is a good idea. At least he may be able to find out something.

I was browsing sites the other day and found the same thing time and time again. That if one wants a congressman to be able to get any real information that they needed to be supplied with a signed privacy release form. Does anyone know anything of this? Because if that is the case then maybe that is something you should look at.

I hope you get a postitive resolution to this soon. Take care.

I have a similar thread going called "I wanna pull out all my hair". My situation is different but I am going through the exact emotions you are. All I can say is this site is really helping me, just knowing I am not alone like David and Goliath (me and IMMIGRATION being the giant). It is grueling, stressful and depressing.

Can you believe I have been having chest pains, went to the doctor today and the doctor asked me if I have been going through stress. I almost started crying right then and there and my chest started to hurt. Look what Immigration has done to us????????????????

I wonder if I can file a law suit due to horrible health conditions brought on by their so called PROCESS??

Just kidding, but not really, my chest does hurt.

Anyway, just wanted to say that I hear ya! I am rooting for ya! Try doing something to destress. Today I went and got my hair done, the highlights look fab!! Tomorrow I am going tanning since we have been having rain. A little UV rays can't hurt.

Rent a favorite movie, pick up a book you have been meaning to read. Write in a pretty new journal. Put together a beautiful scrap book of pics, your story on how you met, and ideas of your wedding in the scrap book. Listen to some good music. Invite some friends over for a BBQ, Sangria wine with apples and oranges is a good pick me up :P

And for all the pent up anger you have...... exercise, let it out. I finally had enough of moping around that I started exercising again this week. Taking walks, stomach crunches, etc.

I hope this helps sweetie.

Keep us posted, and remember, you are not alone!

You should definitely contact your congressman. Find the website online and go to the section for "constituent services". There you should find a privacy release that you can fill out, print and fax to them. Also send a separate letter with all of the necessary information on your case and clear instructions on what you are asking them to do. It shouldn't be that hard for them to make an inquiry into why your case is taking so long and get back to you. good luck!

When our congressman's aide was assisting us, both David and Chris had to sign privacy releases that also provided pertinent case information so that she was given permission to act on their behalf and able to check into the status of their cases.

Best of luck to you. (F)

I feel your frustrations. I know one thing that has helped me is to have someone I really trust to not be judgemental to talk and excerise with. I think the excercising is really helping to pull me through this process.

I don't know if this will help you, but I hope so. My thoughts are with you.

I feel your frustration. I'm right behind you as far as number of days waiting goes, and it is really ridiculous that people are waiting 4+ months just to make it through the first step of a long, long process... I just faxed all the information to a senator yesterday, so I'm hoping this will be resolved soon. Keep venting if you need, we're here for support. I feel your pain, trust me.

i totally know how you feel. monday will be day 88 for me. i understand that you have been waiting longer and not knowing whats going to happen next or how to expedite the process really really sucks. i woke up this morning feeling really sad. it's been two weeks since i was with my fiance but everyday without him seems to be a struggle but life has to go on right? i just finished cleaning my place. started the day off with walking my two dogs, then i proceed to cleaning the living room and then the kitchen. cleaning the kitchen is the hardest part. i get all oc about it and start cleaning the top of the range...scrub scrub scrub... then more scrubs... im tired. at least somehow it was quite theraputic...

try to keep yourself busy. going to the beach right now seems like a good idea. i dont know how the weather is there but im sure you can find something to do. sometimes i write letters just a journal, take out all the stress and woes that i have, that helps alot. i end up crying each time but sometimes you have to release that frustration. reading vj wont hurt as well. you pick up something new everyday plus you have the support from the peeps here. it really helps. they are nice and very very very helpful and insightful. :)

ive also drafted a letter to my congressman. i havent sent it yet. perhaps because i figured i should wait it out a bit ... maybe send it out on my 120th day if nothing happens still.

i hope you feel better... hugs

i feel your pain. including an rfe i had a 136 day wait for my noa2. from the start to my interview date will be 250 days. way more than i'd figured on.

when i was waiting for my noa2, i had to stay away from this place for a while. i was getting so frustrated reading about everyone getting their approvals long before me (mostly those pesky vsc folks ;) )

deep breaths and hang on. i'm sure it'll come sooner rather than later. i've my fingers crossed for you.

take care

I know people get fed-up and pissed off when the time goes beyond their strength. But you know people??? Eveything has two sides. Yea I have been through this experience still going on. We have first faced the painful immigration experince in 2003. Since then we have been running and and running. Still striving. Now lets talk about the two-side thing. Yea when things went out of our hands and we lost the patiance after waitting for long time, from Dec 2003 to March 2004, I just said to my honey, Hey Do we need a piece of paper(visa) prove our love?? She said no then i said "then why dont you leave USA and come here and stay with me. Let immigraion sort out what they want to find from our case and lets start our life properly instead of sending kisses on yahoo. She did exactly the same thing. Left her 9 years pensioned, insurnce-covering, easy and lucartive job and moved into Japan. i am proud of her. Though our case went ahs many ups and downs but the most bright thing was when I wanted to cryI ahd he shoulder and vice-versa.
