 sorry about this but i have read through the examples and i'm a little unsure about a few points, due to a) i know they are not just examples for k1 and B) some question boxes are different to the current one and C) I'm stupid

ok so goes  ....

DS-230 PART1 pages 1&2

#10 USA phone number should i put the international dialing code or just as it would be if in USA?

#13 Same Question as before about english phone number? plus i dont have and office number I'm a bar tender! can i just put none or blank? or should i give the hotels main number even though i dont man it?

#20 in our petition we added an addendium for all the week day uni residences i had whilst i maintained home with parents. even though i didnt remember the exact or entire addresses which i wrote down to explain the vage descriptions, would be ok to do again?

#22 the what occupation do you intend to work in the states? should i just write fashion design, or anything i can get? i'm practical and know i may not initally get a job in my chosen field so will take anything i can get if i dont. hell i would even concider going back to school and turning my ba (hons) into something so i can teach. or should i just put Fashion Design?

#signiture of applicant and date. i think i send it of sans siggie and then sign at the emabssy (am i right?) if so do i still fill the date in so its the date iflled all the info in? or leave blank also for embassy?

oh also all the questions that ask for date from and date to? like work history and residence ect. for the current answers do i put the expected end date, or leave blank or put the date of the form on?

ds-156

#2 i assume this box is about my passport right? there for what is the city of issuance for a uk passport? london? can i put abreviation GBP in country field? and the state province of London? whats that london? assumning it is london?

#14 Do they want my national insurance number here?

#22 you can't write when visa is granted or feb or march, its a drop down to appropriate dates thingy, what should i put?

#26 is permanantly still applicable verbage for k1?

#28 whats best to put here i wont have many funds to show them so should i put my usc fiance (hes also my sponcer) or both of us?

#30 can i just confirm vwp doesnt count when asked have you ever had a visa before?

and finally on ds-156k

the here bycertifiy i intend to marry......... the example didnt put the fiances name in the blank, does this mean i should wait untill interview to fill this in infront of the CO?

soory about the huige ammount of silly questions but i doubt myself when i'm stressed and i dont want to make a silly mistake and delay or get in trouble.

#10 USA phone number should i put the international dialing code or just as it would be if in USA?

Just put in the phone number as you would dial in the USA

#13 Same Question as before about english phone number? plus i dont have and office number I'm a bar tender! can i just put none or blank? or should i give the hotels main number even though i dont man it?

I think we put the country code, but it probably doesn't matter - if you put the country code, the consulate will recognize it as a country code and ignore that anyway..we didn't put a work number either because he's never there. You can put the hotel number since I'm guessing you're employed by them.

#20 in our petition we added an addendium for all the week day uni residences i had whilst i maintained home with parents. even though i didnt remember the exact or entire addresses which i wrote down to explain the vage descriptions, would be ok to do again?

Sounds like an idea! Just put exactly what you put on the previous form when you filed the petition

We left that blank. How can you know? It's not like you have a job lined up and from what I've read, you don't want to think you have a job waiting for you (cause you're coming here for love, not a job :luv:

#signiture of applicant and date. i think i send it of sans siggie and then sign at the emabssy (am i right?) if so do i still fill the date in so its the date iflled all the info in? or leave blank also for embassy?

Don't sign it or date it. This is why they tell you to only fill out Part 1. Part 2 is the siggie part and that has to be done there, so don't even fill any of it out (since they make it all scary looking by saying "Do not write below the line" !

oh also all the questions that ask for date from and date to? like work history and residence ect. for the current answers do i put the expected end date, or leave blank or put the date of the form on?

If you're still employed there, leave it open ended. Don't put an end date.

ds-156

#2 i assume this box is about my passport right? there for what is the city of issuance for a uk passport? london? can i put abreviation GBP in country field? and the state province of London? whats that london? assumning it is london?

Where did you apply for your passport? I would guess it would be London. Er...but I'm not 100% sure on this one since I dont live there. But I'm sure as long as you indicate it's from the UK or GBP then they would know what you mean

#14 Do they want my national insurance number here?

Not sure again what they do in the UK, but if you have such think as national number, yeah this would be it (Im guessing the equivalent to a social security number in the US)

#22 you can't write when visa is granted or feb or march, its a drop down to appropriate dates thingy, what should i put?

You can write when visa is granted. You dont have to say exactly when. they dont know your wedding date (even though we do!!) and you have 6 months after you get the visa to come here...so you can leave that general to "when visa is granted"

#26 is permanantly still applicable verbage for k1?

Yeah, that's what we put

#28 whats best to put here i wont have many funds to show them so should i put my usc fiance (hes also my sponcer) or both of us?

Nah, just put yourself. Even if someone gives you the money, you'll most likely make your own arrangements. They wont want proof of who paid for your ticket to come here

#30 can i just confirm vwp doesnt count when asked have you ever had a visa before?

I'm guessing no, VWP is not the same. But again, I'm not familiar with this one

and finally on ds-156k

the here bycertifiy i intend to marry......... the example didnt put the fiances name in the blank, does this mean i should wait untill interview to fill this in infront of the CO?

Again, this is one of those scary sections where they say "Do not write below the line" so dont write ANYTHING in there, or they might yell at you. :P Just leave that whole section blank!

soory about the huige ammount of silly questions but i doubt myself when i'm stressed and i dont want to make a silly mistake and delay or get in trouble.

thanks in advance

#22 the what occupation do you intend to work in the states? should i just write fashion design, or anything i can get? i'm practical and know i may not initally get a job in my chosen field so will take anything i can get if i dont. hell i would even concider going back to school and turning my ba (hons) into something so i can teach. or should i just put Fashion Design?

i put yes to working and put "with work permit, employer unknown" as it (almost) says in the example. i'm not sure if that was the right thing to do but that's what the example said so i didn't question it which conflicts with star_dragon's response.

#2 i assume this box is about my passport right? there for what is the city of issuance for a uk passport? london? can i put abreviation GBP in country field? and the state province of London? whats that london? assumning it is london?

i wasn't sure what to put here either so i just left the city blank. no city is stated in the passport and i don't know where it came from, all passports come from the same place so i figure they can work it out. not sure if that was the right thing to do either though. ;)

#14 Do they want my national insurance number here?

i'm pretty sure that's what they're asking for. i put my national insurance number in there.

#22 you can't write when visa is granted or feb or march, its a drop down to appropriate dates thingy, what should i put?

i made up a date (january 2nd) in the hope that this would all be resolved by then. that may of course be (and probably is) wishful thinking!

Actually, you're correct, putting employer unknown is fine. I just meant under "what occupation" we left it blank, but we also did the same you did, rocks
